Fountain to the Falls

The race course is challenging and features over 1,000ft elevation climb on the way up to the waterfall in Monrovia.   Andrew came in 4th overall and 1st in AG with a time of 44:28 (2 minutes faster than last year!).  Enrique finished in first place in his age group 50-59 with a time of 51:02.  Ed also medals with a time of 57:55.

Magic Shoe 5K

Leon Laub 19.41 3rd, Tyler 21.16 PR, Bert 21.47 5th, Linda 22.16 2nd, Sue 30.57. Linda and Leon got on the podium at this very fast Usatf Sca Grand Prix race. Tyler ran his all time PR and Sue made her comeback with her first race in 7 months!

Boston Marathon

Wolf finished in 3:43:25.   Amber finished 4:01:06. Enrique finished in 3:52:43 - well done under very hot conditions and weather advisories from the Boston Athletic Association. Hot temps have forced many runners to defer until next year. Many who gave it a shot have had to pull out. Congratulations to all our fantastic runners!

Tough Mudder

Tough Mudder fun today with Tim, Andrea, Joe, and Josh. Joe was 2nd place overall, Andrea was 3rd female overall, Josh and I were 6th and 7th and Tim was top 20. I think the worst part of the whole race was getting shocked.

Brea 8K

Fun was had by all the the Brea 8K today. Several people improved thier times from last year. Linda Hodgson was the only Ridge Runner to place as an indivual, winnig her age group. Our Grand Masters team got 2nd.

Dana Point Turkey Trot

Happy Thanksgiving to all. The Ridge Runners did well at the Dana Point Turkey Trot. Leon ran 39.11, Bert 42.42 and Thomas 43.54. Everybody was happy with their times.

Fit 4 Fall 5K, sponsored by the Bryan Clay Foundation

Fun was had by all. Many great performances and tons of medals. The weather cooperated and the inaugural event was a huge success. The Ridge Runners were happy to be part of this local community event and we thank Bryan Clay and his Foundation for all they do. We are already looking forward to next year's event!
